Use ontrack WBL
You can use the integration between ebs and ontrack WBL to enable an assessor to view and interact with learners engaged in work-based learning.

The following diagram illustrates the interaction between ebs and ontrack WBL.
To enable an assessor to view and interact with their associated learners:

Add or access the relevant staff member (assessor) record

Open the relevant staff member (assessor) account in ebs with User Management module.

Access ontrack WBL as an administrator.
The ontrack WBL dashboard is displayed.

Click the Assessors option in the left-hand sidebar menu.
The Assessors screen is displayed.

Click Search.
The Search screen is displayed.
The search fields include:

Last Name
-
Person Code
-
First Name
-

Enter relevant search criteria and then click the Find button.
Search results are displayed.

Click the relevant assessor record link in search results.
The Details tab is displayed, where you can view the assessor's personal and job details.
You can use the User tab to view the assessor's permissions.
You can use the Caseload tab to view and add learners to the assessor's case load.

Add or access the relevant organisation record

Access ontrack WBL as an administrator.
The ontrack WBL dashboard is displayed.

Click the Employer Editor option in the left-hand sidebar menu.
The Employers screen is displayed.

Click Search.
The Search screen is displayed.
The search fields include:

Employer Name
-
Employer ID
-
Organisation Type
-
Branch Name
-
Employer Ref
-
Postcode
-

Enter relevant search criteria. Click Find.
Search results are displayed.

Click the relevant record link in search results.
The Details tab is displayed.
You can use the Users tab to view employer permissions.
You can use the Learners tab to view and add learners.

Open the relevant learner record using the Learner Search in ebs: central.

Link the learner to the assessor with Learner Contacts (accessed from the Learner Pane).

Link the learner to the employer with Employment & Placements (accessed from the Learner Pane).

Access ontrack WBL as the relevant assessor.
The ontrack WBL dashboard is displayed.

Click the Browse Caseload link, located in the 'Caseload Progress' pane.
Alternatively, click the Learners option in the left-hand menu.
The Caseload tab is displayed.

Select the relevant learner.
The Summary screen is displayed.
You can use the Summary screen to do the following:

Add objectives for the learner

Manage tasks

Export a portfolio

View details

Access the Assessment Wizard
When you have associated an assessor with an employer and a learner, ontrack WBL can be used to do the following:

Employers can use ontrack WBL to view their employee's progress and submit evidence records

Learners can view their objectives with ontrack WBL
